On stage, the dance seems flawless, yet behind this beauty lie countless hours of rehearsal. The artist gives themselves entirely to art — as long as the heart burns, as long as the body carries them.
But there comes a moment to pause. To hear the silence beyond the stage, to breathe deeper, and to exist between roles.
This short film was created within the walls of the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre / Lietuvos nacionalinis operos ir baleto teatras, in the very heart of Vilnius. The theatre’s architecture and the energy of the city become not just a backdrop, but part of the story.
A film about the right to remain yourself, even after the applause fades.
